Aalto's
colour chart in the library is very strict: only black, white and mellow brown. The
colours are complemented by wooden furniture. Scanty colours allow books to feature their
display of colours. Soft, indirect light flowing through the skylights contributes to a
vague fairytale atmosphere. |
